LAPP Tec continuously expands its competence in plastic technology with annual investments. The staff’s education and training are also important to the company, as more than 10% of the staff is apprentices, above all in the area of plastic technology.
For the LAPP Group lean management has a high priority. Company-internal coaches challenge and promote the members of staff of LAPP Tec AG to avoid unnecessary activities, and thus create value without waste. LAPP Tec AG was founded by the two brothers Siegbert and Andreas Lapp on 28th June 1989 in Schaffhausen as LAPP Kabel AG. The labour market with well-qualified specialists, the large number of well-known injection moulding toolmakers in the region and the good conditions for founding companies were the decisive reasons for the decision to found the company in Switzerland as an injection moulding factory of the German LAPP Group.
With the relocation to Diessenhofen in the year 1998 the production could be continuously expanded. Today over 200 million plastic parts are produced and over 1,000 tons of plastic granules are processed.
We are ISO 9001:2015 certified since 2008 and ISO 14001:2015 since 2017.
Our certification partner is DEKRA Certification GmbH, Stuttgart.
The VDE certification was monitored on 23rd June 2015 according to the European factory inspection procedure.
